The TEN things I love on this Friday, day 12 of my 30 day challenge to write!

1. That this morning I held a baby who made my heart smile…and, then an hour later, I held a puppy that made my heart smile…by the time I went to my next meeting I wanted to hold an adult and make them smile.

2. My friends and my family. Every morning the moment my eyes open, before I get out of bed I say “thank you”. I think of each person in my life…see their face in my mind…and say, “thank you”. It is my little ritual that starts every one of my days reminding me how blessed I really am.

3. Dancing…I could dance ALL night long.

4. My good friend Mag’s made me 2 mix CD’s this week! Just makes me giddy.

5. Looking up and catching a man’s eyes that  takes your breath away…but… never showing it;).

6. Hearing from all my readers. It always makes me happy and feel grateful for what I do and the gift of connection.

7. When someone is kind hearted.

8. Romance in all its mysterious forms.

9. Working out…the satisfaction in the burn…and, of course, the results.

10. How I was just thinking this week that I miss hearing the birds sing in my new place…and, yesterday I am in my bedroom making up the bed…I look up and there is a Blue Jay sitting on the railing of my balcony…23 floors up! Like he came to say , “Hey there…we miss you too!”;)

1. Coincidence…I am a believer.

2. Carne Asada tacos…

3. Making someone laugh out loud…

4. Making myself laugh out loud:)

5. How the birds downtown are so hip…they sing at night instead of the morning…

6. Tasting something for the first time.

7. My best guy friends who always have my back- I like to call them my Bootyguards:) When I am out, no man can get to me…unless I want them to…which is hardly ever.

8. Good tequila…it makes me smile and laugh and act silly:)

9. Trusting life…which requires trusting in change.

10. That my inner clock is forever stuck at 23 yrs old and always will be:)

The TEN things I LOVE on this FRIDAY, JAN. 1^st, 2010!!

1. Joy was one of the emotions that greeted me this morning…haven’t felt her in awhile. I don’t think she enjoys hanging with sadness~ so with some soul searching and decisions, she was one of the first in line this morningJ

2. That for the first time in my life I truly DO NOT care what people think anymore. I used to say it and think it, but never felt that way. After taking a long look at how futile it is to care about what someone thinks when they have no idea where you are coming from and are also seeing through their own life lenses that have nothing to do with you? Well, I feel like I just got a get out of jail for free card- WE ARE ALL RIDING A HORSE OF A DIFFERENT COLOR-MYSELF INCLUDED!

3. I love the people who have been brave enough to let their words be heard in this world- those who move my soul- Rumi, Don Miguel Ruiz, Paulo Coelho, Wayne Dyer,  all of the philosophers…just to name a few.

4. I love going outside in the morning and listening to the birds sing- part of they way I meditate I guess.  I individually focus on one bird at a time. It is amazing when you do that, to hear the differences in tone, octave and melody. Talk about beautiful and getting you in the moment.

5.  I love my body. I am grateful for my health and have come to love every inch of my uniqueness. Even the junk in my trunkJ

6. The smile from a stranger- when you look up and catch them smiling at you. Means as much to me for some reason than when friends do…I guess because that person is seeing you for the first time- and something inside or outside, or something you have done, has brought a smile to them. That is pretty cool.

7. How the dog I am sitting- a giant Golden retriever/Shepherd mix- gets up in bed with me and lays, vertical, like a human next to me and falls asleep. Like my own big space heater…

8. The new project I am working on…not gonna jinx it- but it is pretty coolJ

9. Pumpkin pie- I am ashamed to say I ate a whole one in two days:)

10. I LOVE that the sun is out today!!! Makes me happy happy!

The TEN things I LOVE on this FRIDAY…

1.    Driving under an overpass in the pouring down rain-and that split second of silence that occurs while you are under it…

2.    Hearing an old favorite song you had forgotten about…

3.    How the birds seem to kick it up a notch on spring mornings- kind of like Emeril put the BAM! on themJ

4.    Watching a caterpillar walk…or crawl… whatever it is they do.

   5. B & B-  Barbeque and a Beer!!

6.    When I go for a walk- and I mentally say “bless you” to every person I pass or see- and how sometimes they look up at me and smile- as if they felt itJ

7.    My friends- every one of them.

8.    Yesterday- when my little nephew looked at me out of the blue and said- “Aunt Amy- I am where I am going- all my life.” Little Buddha!!!!

9.    Lasagna the day after it’s made…yummy.

10. Dane Cook- He CRACKS me up!!
